New Delhi: After creating anticipation with the film’s posters, the makers of ‘Kalank’ have unveiled the teaser of the multi-starrer. The film, which is set against the backdrop of the pre-independence era, has a star-studded cast. Starring Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur, the film promises to offer a great cinematic experience to the audience. The teaser of ‘Kalank is a visual treat and we just can’t wait for the film to hit the silver screens. From the magnificent sets to Varun Dhawan’s daredevil bull fight, here are the five things we loved in Kalank’s teaser. SLB is known for his magnificent sets and Kalank’s teaser gave us a glimpse of the grand sets in the film. According to reports, Amrita Mahal Nakai has designed the sets of the film and we must say she has done a brilliant job. The cinematography looks top-notch as well. High intense drama (Source- screen grab) Even though, the teaser of ‘Kalank’ didn’t reveal the plot of the film, it did manage to give us a small hint about the love triangle between Dev, Roop and Zafar. It gave us an insight into the lives of the six main characters, leaving us wanting for more. We see emotional scenes of Alia and Sonakshi while Varun’s character is ready to fight with danger. The teaser also features a scene of communal violence, suggesting the film is full on drama element. Resplendent costumes (Source- screen grab) Considering the film is set in pre-independence era, the makers have done a great job when it comes to designing the clothes for the lead actors. The three leading ladies- Madhuri, Sonakshi and Alia oozed elegance in the teaser, all thanks to the stunning costumes. Varun Dhawan’s bull fight sequence Kalank has several eye-pleasing visuals and one of the scenes feature Varun Dhawan in a bull fight. We have previously seen a bull-fight sequence in Prabhas starrer ‘Baahubali’. The bull-fight scene in ‘Kalank’ has hit the right spot and Varun has brought the right emotions for the high octane-action sequence. After playing the role of Mauji in ‘Sui Dhaaga’, Varun is playing a rustic character in ‘Kalank’. The actor has worked hard on his body and he flaunted his chiseled abs in the teaser. Soulful music and majestic dance sequences (Source- screen grab) The song ‘Kalank Nahi Ishq Hai Kajal Piya’ plays while Alia and Varun walk towards each other during the end of the teaser. The soothing number has been crooned by Arijit Singh and fans are already asking the makers to release the song as soon as possible. (Madhuri in a still from Kalank) When Dhak Dhak girl is in a film, how can you not expect her to not dance? Madhuri Dixit mesmerizes us with her graceful moves, making us fall in love with her again. The majestic dance sequences are one of the important highlights of Kalank’s teaser.
