Jawan Advance Bookings: Shah Rukh Khan Starrer Inching Close To Rs 2 Crore In The USA

SRK's next movie has received close to Rs 2 crore in advance bookings from 450 sites in the USA.

New Delhi: The craze among Shah Rukh Khan fans for his upcoming film 'Jawan' is at its peak. This week is likely to see the release of the trailer for SRK's next movie, which was directed by Atlee and is already making waves. The movie will finally be premiered in theatres on September 7.

In the midst of this, a few theatres began taking advance bookings for the movie, and each one received a record-breaking amount of enthusiasm. The movie has received close to Rs 2 crore in advance bookings from 450 sites in the USA. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan estimated that 13750 tickets had been sold in total.

In the United States, advance booking for 'Jawan' started 20 days before the movie's premiere; however, it has not yet started in India. A few more cinemas have begun taking bookings in advance for the movie. Manobala tweeted early on Monday, “Even before the Trailer launch, #Jawan crosses $200K mark at the USA Box Office. Advance sales - $210,339 [ ₹1.74 cr] Locations - 450 Shows - 1884 Tickets - 13750.”

Following the successful spy action thriller 'Pathaan' from Siddharth Anand, 'Jawan' is Shah Rukh's second movie of the year. The actor will play two roles in the movie. Since the massive success of ‘Pathaan’ at the box office earlier this year, fans of the movie have no way to hold back their excitement as the teaser and trailer for the movie have already caused quite a stir on the internet.

With the release of 'Jawan', Nayanthara will make her Bollywood debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Apart from a brief cameo by Deepika Padukone, Jawan also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Priyamani, and Sanya Malhotra. The movie, which is produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, will be released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
