'He Was My Soulmate': Jackie Shroff Expresses Grief Over Demise Of His Make-Up Artist Of 37 Years

Jackie Shroff mourned the demise of his make-up artist Shashi Satam and paid a tribute to him on social media.

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff mourned the demise of his make-up man Shashi Satam, who worked with him for 37 years. The ‘Ram Lakhan’ star shared a heartfelt post for Shashi, who passed away on Monday (May 17). Shroff expressed his grief over Satam’s death and paid a tribute to him. 

Jackie shared a throwback photo with his make-up artist and remembered their long association. He got emotional while penning his thoughts after Shashi Satam’s demise. “Shashi Dada Will always be in deepest corner of my heart. My make up person for 37 years passed away,” the ‘Bharat’ actor tweeted.

Suniel Shetty, Divya Dutta, Gurmeet Choudhary and other tinsel town celebs offered their condolence to Shashi’s family while responding to Jackie’s post. 

Jackie called Shashi his ‘soulmate’ while replying to a fan on the micro-blogging site. His wife Ayesha Shroff re-posted the same photo and said that she would miss the veteran make-up artist. She wrote, "RIP Shashi dada. From Hero till now. We will miss you."

On the professional front, Jackie was recently seen in Salman Khan starrer ‘Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai’. He played the role of a police officer in the action drama, which has been directed by Prabhu Deva. 

Shroff trended on social media after a scene from the film went viral on social media. Many Twitter users expressed their displeasure over Jackie’s cross-dressing act in ‘Radhe’.

The much-awaited film was heavily panned upon its release on multiple platforms. Despite the scathing reviews, the flick managed to receive an amazing response from the audience. It garnered over 4.2 million views across all the platforms on its opening day. 

‘Radhe’ is available for viewing on ZEEPlex and leading DTH operators. The film also stars Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda in key roles.
