'There Is Nothing Feft For Me To Live Now But You And Ayaan': Irrfan Khan's Son Babil Pens Heartwarming Post For Mother Sutapa Sikdar

Late Irrfan Khan's wife Sutapa Sikdar also shared a photo with his son Babil Khan on social media.

New Delhi: Late Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan’s elder son Babil Khan took to social media to share a heartwarming post for his mother Sutapa Sikdar. He shared a picture with his dearest mommy and called her ‘light house in the storm’. Sutapa can be seen hugging her son while Babil looked at the camera while posing for the camera. Babil addressed his father while sharing the post on his official Instagram handle. “You told me to take care of her but it turned out that she took care of us like you did. Mamma. That light house in the storm, I hope I can give you the world to travel, and everything more that you desire, there is nothing left for me to live now but you and Ayaan,” Babil wrote. Sutapa also shared a picture with Babil which seems to have been taken before he went to London. “You have seen them grow and then they go. ‘Travel and tell no one, live a true love story and tell no one, live happily and tell no one, people ruin beautiful things,” her post read.

Babil recently hit back at the people, who said that his father Irrfan Khan would be ashamed of him. He shared a long post on Instagram and said that the he and the ‘Piku’ actor were best of friends and requested others not to ‘jump on a band wagon and teach him what his father would have done’. “U know what, I have felt a sense of liberation from your hate because I realised, you really don’t have anything to do but hate and form a quick judgemental opinion about an actual human being . So really man, I have truly lost respect for people that claim they know my father, or hahahaha know my father better than me like “oh your father would be so ashamed of you” , Boi or girl shut you mouth, me and baba were the bestest friends don’t try to teach me what my father would have done, don’t jump on a band wagon just cause you can without knowing his true beliefs. If you’re a Irrfan Khan fan, come prove it me, show me his fascinations with Tarkovsky and Bergmann and then we shall probably start a conversation of how much you think you know my father. He was beyond you my friend,” Babil wrote.

Irrfan Khan, who was known for his impeccable performances in cinema, passed away on April 29. The ‘Paan Singh Tomar’ star has left behind an irreplaceable void in the film industry. On the professional front, Irrfan was last seen in ‘Angrezi Medium’. The movie co-starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Radhika Madan couldn’t enjoy a long run at the theatres due to the COVID-19 crisis.
