Impressed by Baahubali, Indian government to open world class animation institute
New Delhi: SS Rajamouli's 'Baahubali' has achieved milestones internationally. Movie has registered several unbelievable records in Indian cinema. World class visual effect, animation, graphics and 3D effects led the film ahead on International market.
While making Baahubali like films has always been a dream for Indian cinema, techniques used in Baahubali generated new career possibilities in India.
Impressed by the film, Indian government has decided to open world class animation institute in India which will equally be like IITs and IIMs.
The first campus of this world class animation institute will be in Mumbai. There will be 16 courses in the institute including Bachelor of design: Animation and interactive media, Bachelor of Design games, BFA Digital arts animation, B.Sc. Games development, M.Sc. computer animation visual effects, Master of Animation games.
According to the sources, government is willing to open temporary campus from the next session only.
