'You Deserve This': Huma Qureshi Is All Praise For Brother Saqib Saleem, Shares Post After Attending '83' Premiere

Huma Qureshi shared an appreciation post for Saqib Saleem, who will be seen as Mohinder Amarnath in Kabir Khan's 83.

The special premiere of Ranveer Singh starrer '83' turned out to be a starry affair as several leading Bollywood celebrities and cricket legends attended the event in Mumbai on Wednesday (December 22). Tinsel town stars including Ayushmann Khurrana, Alia Bhatt, Vaani Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor graced the red carpet, creating waves on social media, courtesy their sartorial choices. 

Huma Qureshi, who attended the premiere along with her mother, shared an appreciation post for brother Saqib Saleem, Ranveer and Kabir Khan. She penned a post on her official Instagram handle, praising Salim for working on his craft and thanking Kabir for giving an opportunity to her brother. 

"83 is not a film .. it’s a feeling .. to me last night felt beautiful.. like my mummy’s hug .. thank you @kabirkhankk sir for giving @saqibsaleem Jimmy Amarnath & for making this lovely film … Thank you to all the boys who are like his brothers now !! Thank you @ranveersingh for not just being the supernova of talent that you are But also being the generous superstar who let the film shine above all," Huma wrote.

"Thank you to the OG players for giving us hope as a nation where there was none. 83 is just so special.. Thank you all for letting me witness this #grateful #blessed #pyaar #proud Above all, thank you my baby brother for showing me that despite everything the world may throw at you … Hard work always shines .. you keep working at your craft and your passion and one day the world will see it too … You deserve this my jaan and much more," she added.

The 'Maharani' actress shared a picture wherein Saqib can be seen hugging their mother.

For the unversed, Saqib is playing the role of former cricketer Mohinder Amarnath in '83', which is based on India's 1983 Cricket World Cup Victory. Ranveer, Saqib and Harrdy Sandhu were seen having a blast with other guests including cricket legends at the special premiere of the film in Mumbai.

'83' will hit the silver screens on December 24, 2021. The highly-anticipated flick has received positive reviews from the critics and hence, trade pundits are hopeful that the film will resonate well with the audience.
