Honsla Rakh Trailer: While Diljit Dosanjh stole the show with his comic timing, Shehnaaz Gill creates ripples on social media with chemistry with Dosanjh.

Mumbai: The wait is finally over. Diljit Dosanjh has released the trailer of his much-awaited film ‘Honsla Rakh’. The upcoming romantic comedy has been making waves ever since the makers announced the project. Shehnaaz Gill and Sonam Bajwa will be seen romancing Diljit in ‘Honsla Rakh’, which marks his debut as a film producer.

The much-awaited Punjabi film promises to tickle the funny bones of the audience during Dusshera 2021. The trailer starts with Diljit and Shehnaaz, who are seen on a dinner date. Shehnaaz’s character doesn’t want a baby. However, destiny has something else in store for them. She gets pregnant with Diljit’s child. Guess what? She decides to divorce Dosanjh and asks him to take the custody of their son.

Diljit’s character names his son ‘Honsla’ as his in-laws always asked him to stay patient. The film is loaded with hilarious dialogues and punch lines. There’s big twist in tale as well.

The desi munda tries to find a mom for his seven-year-old son. However, he crosses path with his former lover, who returns to the city after a seven-year gap. How Diljit’s character deals with the situation forms the crux of the story.

The official synopsis for the film on YouTube reads, “Honsla Rakh is a romantic comedy set in Vancouver, Canada that has warmth at its center and deals with the emotional bonds between father and child, and love between men and women in modern times.”

Shehnaaz Gill trended on Twitter after the trailer of 'Honsla Rakh' was unveiled. 'Bigg Boss 13' contestant Shefali Bagga praised Gill after watching the film's trailer.

"Just saw the #HonslaRakhTrailer , as Diljit Dosanjh said he is born cute, Shehnaaz Gill is a born star. Super proud of her and I hope she gets back soon out there with all her charm and good health," Bagga wrote on the micro-blogging site.

‘Honsla Rakh’ will hit the silver screens on October 15, 2021. The makers of the film were supposed to shoot a promotional song in London on September 15. However, they had to put the plans on hold as Shehnaaz is still mourning the loss of her close friend Sidharth Shukla, a report in Times Of India said.

Shehnaaz has refrained from sharing the trailer of 'Honsla Rakh' on her social media platforms.
