New Delhi: In the history of Indian cinema, there have been few entertainers that have etched a special place with its entertaining quotient and star appeal. Actress Sonam Khan recently shared a heartfelt video on social media, marking the 32nd anniversary of the timeless classic Vishwatma.

In her caption, she fondly remembered and mentioned, "Today marks the 32nd anniversary of #Vishwatma, a film that is engraved in my memories. This clip is from the grand Mahurat where all the cast came together to announce the movie. The film was shot in #Nairobi and a few parts in #Kenya, and I had a blast shooting with my favorites #DivyaBharti, @Naseeruddin49, @Chunkypanday, @iamsunnydeol, and #AmrishPuri ji. It was during this movie that Divya Bharti and I became really good friends."

She also shared an interesting incident, "I still remember on the set when I badly injured my leg, and #AmrishPuri Ji, our on-screen villain but off-screen gentleman, carried me back to the hotel. This movie holds a special place in my heart as it was the last movie I signed before I got married."

She took us back to "The Grand Mahurat”, where the movie shot in the scenic landscapes of Nairobi and Kenya and cherished memories created with an exceptional cast. It provided Sonam with an unforgettable experience. She fondly recalls working with her favorites, including the late Divya Bharti, Naseeruddin Shah, Chunky Panday, Sunny Deol, and the legendary Amrish Puri Ji.

‘Vishwatma’, a film that has become instilled in Sonam's memories, holds a special place in her heart as it gracefully marks the conclusion of a significantly important chapter in her career.

Her friendship with Divya Bharti evolved during the filming, leading to an ever-lasting relation that was seen on the silver screen too. Sonam Khan's connection with Vishwatma delves deeper, as she reveals that it was the last film she signed before she got married. The film holds the essence of warmth and love adding an extra layer of personal touch that she happily recalls.

Vishwatma still occupies a special place in the hearts of millions of viewers due to the gripping storyline that defines an era of Bollywood and the iconic beats of ‘Saat Samundar Paar’ which holds the same craze across the country.

The movie had an exceptional cast with a never-heard-before kind of story that revealed the on-screen villain being an off-screen hero to the diva.  Sonam Khan has the unbeatable background score of the iconic song Saat Samundar Paar. It is evident that this film is more than just a cinematic journey, it's a treasure of love, unforgettable memories, lifelong friendships, and its relevance over a period of three decades that has an everlasting impact on the hearts of its audience.
