Flashback Friday: When Priyanka Chopra’s aunt wanted her to marry TV actor Mohit Raina
Global icon Priyanka Chopra has been hogging all the limelight these days, all thanks to her whirlwind romance with American singer Nick Jonas. The two alleged love birds have been painting the town red with their love. Piggy Chops, who turned 36 on July 18, celebrated her birthday with Nick in London. The ‘Jealous’ singer shared a picture with PeeCee on his Instagram story, making the fans go aww. But did you know, there was a time the ‘Quantico’ actress’ aunt (masi) wanted her to marry a popular TV actor? Can you guess who the handsome hunk is?
A few years ago, the ‘Bharat’ actress had reportedly told Zoom that her aunt wanted her to get married to 'Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev' actor Mohit Raina. Her aunt was apparently impressed by the ‘Chakravartin Samrata Ashoka’ actor and felt that he was a well-behaved, honest man who is also a terrific actor. Interestingly, when the entertained channel contacted Raina for his comments, the actor was left speechless.
Mohit Raina’s brilliant portrayal of Lord Shiva made him a household name and escalated him to newer heights of popularity. After watching his super performance in the mythological show, any Indian mother would be more than happy to make him their son-in-law. The talented actor is making his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Uri’.
