'Everest' fame Shamata Anchan makes film debut with Abhay Deol's 'The Field'; Plays his Wife!

Shamata Anchan, who debuted on TV in Ashutosh Gowarikar's TV show 'Everest' as 'Anjali Singh Rawat' 3 years ago is currently seen in Zee TV's 'Bin Kuch Kahe'. Shamata has now bagged a movie and all set to debut on big screen with Bollywood actor Abhay Deol. ‘Bin Kuch Kahe’ actress Shamata Anchan to don a BIKINI in the show! Shamta plays Abhay's wife in canadian film 'The Field' which is an international Hindi-English bilingual film and the two have already wrapped the film shooting in Delhi and Mumbai. Shamata was quoted saying  by TOI - "I was shooting for a show, 'Bin Kuch Kahe', in Jaipur when I got a call for this international Hindi-English bilingual. We shot the film in Mumbai and Delhi and wrapped up the film in 30 days. It's based on the capital's land mafia with Abhay playing a cop. I didn't have to think twice about agreeing to star opposite Abhay in my first feature".
