Aryan Khan To Spend Another Night In Arthur Jail, Will Get Released Tomorrow

According to a report in ANI, Aryan Khan will get released from Arthur Road on Saturday (October 30).

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan, who was arrested in connection with drugs on cruise ship, will have to spend another night in jail as he will be released on Saturday (October 30), according to ANI. The 23-year-old will not be released from Arthur Road Central Jail on Friday, jail officials told the news agency.

Aryan Khan couldn't walk out of jail as his bail orders could not reach ARCJ authorities by the stipulated time of 5.30pm on Friday (October 29). Though Khan's legal team led by Satish Maneshinde had rushed from the Bombay HC to Arthur Road Jail, a mere 8 kms away, they were stuck in the massive traffic jams en route, as per IANS.

Juhi Chawla, who signed the surety bond for Aryan, interacted with the media outside the Sessions court. She expressed her relief over Aryan Khan's bail in connection with the drugs case. "I'm just happy that it's all over and Aryan Khan will come home very soon. I think it's a big relief for everybody," the actress was quoted as saying by ANI.

Aryan Khan's Bail Order Conditions

The Bombay High Court has allowed a bail to Aryan at a Rs 1 lakh bond, as per the orders issued on October 29. The court, which granted relief to Aryan, Arbaz Seth Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha in connection with the alleged rave party case, instructed the trio to furnish one or more surety. It also asked them to not leave Mumbai or India without seeking permission from the NCB investigating officer.

The High Court also directed them to not make any public statements related to the case or indulge in similar activities. The trio will have to visit the NCB office every Friday between 11am-2pm. They have been also asked to go to the NCB office, whenever called.

The bail order states that the trio cannot influence the witnesses in any manner or attempt to delay the trial. They will have to attend court on all dates in the bail order.

Why Was Aryan Khan Arrested?

The 23-year-old was detained and later arrested following NCB's raid on a luxury cruise ship earlier this month. Khan, Dhamecha and Merchant were among the eight, who were nabbed by the anti-drugs enforcement agency during its raid on the Goa-bound ship.

Aryan and others were booked under relevant sections of the NDPS Act. Last week, Khan's lawyer approached the Bombay High Court for urgent hearing in the matter after a Special NDPS court rejected his bail application in the case.

SRK and Gauri Khan's elder son will return home after 28 days. Last week, the NCB had conducted a raid at Ananya Panday's house in Khar West. The federal agency seized Ananya's mobile and laptop and summoned her to appear for the officials. Her name featured in the WhatsApp charts of Aryan and hence, she was summoned for questioning, an NCB official told IANS.
