Drugs Case: Mumbai Court Remands Armaan Kohli To 14-Day Judicial Custody
A Mumbai court has remanded Armaan Kohli to a 14-day judicial custody in connection with an alleged drugs case.
Mumbai: A court here on Wednesday (September 1) remanded Bollywood actor Armaan Kohli to 14-day judicial custody in connection with a drug case. The former ‘Bigg Boss’ contestant was arrested after the Narcotics Control Bureau seized drugs from his residence during a raid.
Armaan was sent to NCB custody till September 1, following the seizure of drugs from his house. Last week, the NCB recovered a small quantity of cocaine while conducting a raid at Armaan's Andheri house. The anti-drugs law enforcement agency raided the actor's house on Saturday (August 28) and then took him to its office after seizing the banned narcotics.

The actor was arrested under several sections of the NDPS Act including 21(a), 27(a), 28, 29, 30 and 35. Armaan Kohli's name came to the fore during the interrogation of a drug peddler Ajay Raju Singh, who was nabbed in Worli. The NCB recovered 25 gms of Mephedrone from Singh.
Armaan Kohli Gave Ambiguous Answers: NCB
NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede said that Armaan was taken to custofy for questioning after he gave ambiguous answers after a raid was conducted at his house, according to a report in ANI.
Armaan was found in an 'inebriated condition' at the time of his arrest, NCB officials told ANI.
The NCB raided Kohli's residence a day after arresting TV actor Gaurav Dixit in connection with a drugs case. Dixit was sent to a NCB custody till August 30.
When Armaan Kohli Was Arrested For Physical Abuse
The 'Jaani Dushman' actor was arrested for alleged physical abuse with 'Bigg Boss 7' co-contestant Sofia Hayat. The Maharashtra police arrested him while he was participating in Salman Khan's show. Armaan was granted bail the next day.
Sofia Hayat had filed a complaint against Kohli at Santacruz police station, Mumbai. In her complaint, she accused him of using 'unparliamentary language', a report in PTI said.
