Did Salman Khan's EX-manager Reshma Shetty convince Priyanka Chopra to walk out of 'Bharat'?
A lot of hullabaloo was created in circles of Bollywood when Priyanka Chopra walked out of Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’. Director Ali Abbas Zafar had hinted that PeeCee left the film citing her engagement with Nick Jonas as the reason. Katrina Kaif was introduced as the new leading lady of ‘Bharat’ by Salman and Ali Abbas after Priyanka’s exit from the much-awaited film. Fans were shocked when the ‘Quantico’ actress bowed out as the film was supposed to her comeback vehicle to Hindi cinema.
Gossip mills are now buzzing with the rumours that Salman Khan’s former manager Reshma Shetty might have convinced Priyanka to leave ‘Bharat’.
A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Reshma’s talent management agency Matrix which manages the ‘Barfi’ actress, influenced her decision to walk out of the film.
“Team Reshma Shetty made her understand – it didn’t take too long – that the film no longer belonged to her ‘league’ with the addition of certain names to the cast. Considering PeeCee was all set to make her comeback into Hindi films with Bharat, the talent management agency didn’t want her to falter,’’ a source told SpotboyE.

“The casting did not pan out as envisaged and Priyanka immediately called Ali to tell him about her concerns. The rest, as they say, is history,” the source further told the portal.
For the uninitiated, Salman Khan was previously managed by Reshma Shetty but the two mutually parted ways after a massive showdown, as per media reports.
On the professional front, Priyanka will be next seen in ‘The Sky Is Pink’, which co-stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. The film, which is being helmed by Shonali Bose, is based on the life of Aisha Chaudhary. Talking about Salman, the ‘Race 3’ stars will return to small screen with Bigg Boss 12 on Colors TV. The makers launched their show in Goa on Tuesday (September 4). BB 12 will start beaming from September 16 and will air Monday-Friday 10:30pm and weekends 9pm on Colors channel.
