‘Dhamaka’ Teaser: ‘News Anchor’ Kartik Aaryan Promises To Tell The Truth In Ram Madhvani’s Next

New Delhi: Kartik Aaryan, who is known for portraying boy-next-door characters, will be next seen in a totally different avatar in his upcoming movie ‘Dhamaka’. The ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ actor will be seen portraying the role of a journalist in this upcoming action-thriller film. The official announcement of ‘Dhamaka’ was made last year on the occasion of the ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ actor’s birthday last year on November 22. Since then, fans of Kartik Aaryan have been eagerly waiting to watch the actor portray a different character on-screen.

Recently, the makers of ‘Dhamaka’ released the teaser of this upcoming film. Earlier, the film was planned to release theatrically but now, the movie will directly hit the OTT platform Netflix soon.

In the teaser, Kartik can be seen going on-air for his prime-time show. However, what catches the attention is his blood-stained clothes and the actor can be witnessed puking at the starting of the teaser. Kartik, who can be seen portraying the character of a ‘news anchor’ Arjun Pathak is repeatedly heard saying ‘Whatever I say shall be the truth’.

Kartik also shared the teaser on his Instagram and wrote, “Main hoon Arjun Pathak Jo bhi Kahunga Sach Kahunga 🙏🏻 #Dhamaka 💥Coming soon, only on Netflix 🔥”

The ‘Luka Chuppi’ actor can be seen donning a different avatar in this upcoming thriller movie by Ram Madhvani. Produced by RSVP Movies, ‘Dhamaka’ also stars Mrunal Thakur, Amruta Subhash in pivotal roles.

‘Dhamaka’ is the official Hindi remake of the 2014 South Korean film ‘The Terror Live’ which tells the story of an ambitious news anchor who monopolizes the live broadcast of a terrorist attack.

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan was last seen starring in the 2020 movie ‘Love Aaj Kal’ opposite Sara Ali Khan. Other than ‘Dhamaka’, he also has ‘Bhool Bhulaiya 2’ and ‘Dostana 2’ in his kitty.
