Dhadak celebs review: Alia Bhatt, Javed Akhtar & others are in awe of Janhvi-Ishaan's film

Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter’s much-awaited film Dhadak has hit the cinema theatres on Friday. The film directed by Shashank Khaitan has received mixed reviews from the critics but our Bollywood celebs seem to love ‘Dhadak’. The flick, which is the Hindi remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat, has managed to become the talk of the town. The makers of the film recently organised a special screening for the industry people and the celebs couldn’t help but praise the talent of the two actors. Alia Bhatt, who worked with Shashank Khaitan in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, took to twitter to wish him all the best. ‘’Shashi it’s your big day! But an even bigger day for these two amazing actors! Janhvi and Ishaan deserve all the love and more!!! LOVE the film and I’m so happy and proud of you @ShashankKhaitan best you are!,’’ the Raazi actress wrote on the micro-blogging site. Shahid Kapoor, who is Ishaan Khatter's brother requested his fans on social media to watch 'Dhadak'. Veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar showered praises on the film and the two actors on Twitter. Akhtar appreciated Janhvi and said that she is a worthy daughter of a worthy mother (Sridevi). The Padma Shri awardee admired the director Shashank and said that he is sure the film will be appreciated by everyone. He even said that he would see Dhadak once again. Parineeti Chopra, who will soon be seen in 'Namaste England', had some interesting words to say about the film. Other tinsel town celebs like Madhuri Dixit, Sonam Kapoor and Varun Dhawan have also praised the film. Watch this space for more updates!
