Delhi Karol Bagh hotel fire: Vishal Dadlani has a message for fans after concert stands cancelled at Talkatora stadium!

In the wake of the fire incident in Karol Bagh's hotel Arpit Palace that killed 17 people, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia ordered cancellation of an event to mark the fourth anniversary celebration of the AAP government in Delhi on Tuesday.   Bollywood singer-composer Vishal Dadlani who was to perform during the event to be held at Talkatora Stadium has taken to his Instagram handle and posted a video announcing the same to his fans with a heavy heart offering condolences to the families of the dead and injured. Vishal recorded the video travelling in the car upon his arrival in the capital. Vishal's caption alongside the video read - "DELHI CONCERT RESCHEDULED: Saddened by the news of the fire and casualties at Karol Bagh in Delhi. Naturally, our thoughts are with the victims, so the Delhi Govt and I have decided not to do the show today. An alternate date will be announced. Apologies to anyone who has been inconvenienced." And here's what he can be heard saying in the video Vishal said in the video - "Namaskar mai Vishal Dadlani hun. Abhi-abhi dilli[Delhi] mei land huye hain, aaj sham ka show planned tha Indira Gandhi stadium mei. Magar pohuchte hi khabar mili ki Karol Bagh mei aag lagi hai, kayi logon ki jaanein bhi gayi hain. Toh obviously is mahaul mei show karna theek nahi hoga. Toh Delhi government aur maine decide kiya hai ki aaj ka show cancel hoga. Jin logon ko takleef pohuchi hai, maafi chahte hain. Thank you."
Massive fire swept through a four-floor hotel in central Delhi's Karol Bagh in the early hours of Tuesday, killing at least 17 guests, including a child and two people who jumped off the building in a desperate bid to save themselves, officials said.

The blaze,in which 35 people were injured, started in the second floor of the Arpit Palace Hotel in the heart of the national capital around 3.30 am, trapping many guests who were deep in sleep. There were 53 people in the 45-room hotel, which had a canopy on the terrace housing what appeared to be a restaurant, officials said.
