Dear Maya Trailer: Manisha Koirala as a lonely woman in her comeback film!

The beautiful 46 year old 'Dil Se' and '1942 A Love Story' actress is making a comeback in Bollywood in a lead role of 'Maya' in this film. Post her struggle with ovarian cancer, the Nepalese actress was also seen in Ram Gopal Verma’s “Bhoot Returns” in 2012. Manisha now plays an aged woman who lives in Shimla in her bungalow alone and the two school girls try to fill her life with colors by sending her fake love letter from an imaginary lover called 'Ved' from 20 years ago. The school buddies who had made an innocent attempt to bring joy, love and light to Maya's otherwise dull and lonely life are now set to look for Maya who's missing since 6 years. The first look of this 90's hit actress who was seen in multiple hits like 'Dil Se', '1942...', 'Khamoshi' and 'Bombay' in the first glimpses of 'Dear Maya' intrigued many as she looked unrecognizable in the sneak peek[Dear Maya TEASER: Manisha Koirala looks unrecognizable with wrinkles!]. Now the talented actress is back to charm us with her beauty and acting skills in 'Maya' that is scheduled to hit theatre screens on June 2, 2017.

The trailer released on 4th May has already fetched close to 2 million views. Manisha thanked fans for the love with her Instagram post.

 Manisha however does not agree this is her second innings. She told IANS, "Well this movie has an interesting script. This is not my second innings. I was always here... And I am around, but yes I will do one film in a year."

Manisha, who will turn turned 47 in August, believes in ageing gracefully. She was quoted further by IANS, "You have to evolve with time. I feel one should age gracefully, tastefully and with acceptance... So that is really important. I feel one should evolve with the time".
