Dabangg 3: Saqib Saleem to play villain in Salman Khan starrer?

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Saqib Saleem is currently basking in the success of his recent release Race 3. The Remo D’Souza directorial, which is the third installment of the Race franchise, has raked in big moolah at the box office. The Dil Junglee actor has another reason to be happy as he has reportedly bagged a key role in Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3. Grapevines are buzzing with the rumours that the Dishoom actor, who also happens to be Huma Qureshi’s brother, might play the antagonist in Dabangg 3. A source close to film told a leading daily that Salman Khan is keen on taking Saqib as the main villain for the third installment of Dabangg series. “Salman is keen to get Saqib on board to play the main negative character in Dabangg 3. Casting for the film is underway, and it’s too early to confirm anything yet,” a source told Deccan Chronicle.

Another report in an entertainment portal suggested that Sonakshi Sinha, who played the role of Rajjo in Dabangg and Dabangg 2, will be part of the Prabhu Deva directorial. The report also said that Salman was impressed with Saqib Saleem’s work in Race 3 and hence wants him to be part of the third installment. Salman Khan with Sonakshi Sinha in Dabangg Arbaaz Khan, the producer of Dabangg 3, while talking to Bollywood Hungama revealed that the look tests for some of the characters have started. He added that the story has been locked through and a proper announcement regarding the cast will be made when the time is right. Sonu Sood and Prakash Raj played the main antagonists in Dabangg and Dabangg 2 respectively, and it would be interesting to see Saqib Saleem clash with Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) in Dabangg 3.
