Ever since the news of Britain's Prince Charles suffering from Coronavirus came out, various pictures of him meeting Kanika Kapoor are going viral.

New Delhi: The novel Coronavirus outbreak is wreaking havoc globally. While enough preventive health measures have been suggested by health experts, the people across the world are in state of panic. Amid COVID-19 outbreak all over the world, many known names including Tom Hanks, Kanika Kapoor and Kristofer Hivju have tested coronavirus positive and are isolation. Now, Britain's Prince Charles too has tested positive and is now self-isolating in royal residence Balmoral in Scotland. Ever since the news came out, netizens are trolling Kanika Kapoor for infecting Prince Charles with Coronavirus. Few pictures of Kanika Kapoor meeting Prince Charles is doing the rounds on social media in which the duo is seen shaking hands and conversing together. The pictures are going viral with claims that Kanika passed the virus to Prince Charles. Take a look at few reactions below:

However, this isn’t true as the pictures are reportedly from a royal event held five years ago in 2015. The viral pictures, in which Kanika is seen in an orange dress, is from an event 'Travels to my Elephants' which was hosted by Prince Charles and wife Camillia, Duchess of Cornwall in 2015. Hence. the claims of Kanika passing the Coronavirus infection to Prince Charles are totally false. On a related note, Charles is not the first member of the royalty to test positive for COVID-19. Prince Albert of Monaco has also tested positive. Coming back to Kanika Kapoor, the Bollywood singer tested positive last week post which she was criticised a lot for not self-quarantining herself upon her return from London and then attending several parties in Lucknow.She has tested positive in her third COVID-19 test, reports of which came in on Tuesday (March 24) night.
