"The movie wasn't that heavy that people expected it to be. It's light and positive with sprinkles of humour and romance, which is endearing #Chhapaak," another user wrote. Another fan tweeted, "#Chhapaak stands as one of Deepika's best films. it's haunting, gripping, hard to watch at times, but still leaves you with hope & inspires you. The ‘Padmaavat’ actress had visited JNU to express her solidarity with the students. Bollywood celebs including Dia Mirza, Bhumi Pednekar, Swara Bhasker and Sonakshi Sinha praised her for extending supporting to the students, who were attacked by a mob in the JNU campus.
