#Candle4SSR Trends On Twitter As Fans Seek Justice For Sushant Singh Rajput

Fans lit a candle and conducted a digital protest to demand justice for Sushant Singh Rajput.

New Delhi: BJP leader Subramanian Swamy appointed advocate Ishkaran Singh Bhandari to look into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death after fans demanded a CBI probe into his case. Ishkaran requested the fans to hold a peaceful digital protest to demand justice for the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor. He urged them to light a candle and share the pictures and videos online. Ishkaran asked the fans to use the hashtag #Candel4SSR while posting the pictures on Twitter. "2 lakh+ views already! Let’s all light candles, Diya lamp at 8pm Today! for 1st ever digital protest India or abroad to ask Justice for Sushant Singh Rajput Tweet/FB/insta with hashtag #Candle4SSR Take pictures or VIDEO & TAG me, will retweet," Ishkaran wrote on the micro-blogging site. As soon as the clock struck eight, fans started sharing pictures on social media. The hashtag #Candle4SSR trended with over 300k tweets within half-an-hour. One user tweeted, “Let the world know how much SUSHANT was loved and how much everybody loves and respects him even after his unfortunate demise! Let's fight for justice together! #Candle4SSR.”

"#Candle4SSR I know wherever you are, you are surely looking us and I just want to say We all love you. We will fight for your justice till the end. Keep smiling," another user wrote on the micro-blogging site.

One fan tweeted, "We light a candle tonight and say a silent prayer for you, dear Sushant. We promise to keep you alive in our hearts forever and pledge to fight for your justice."
