New Delhi: Bollywood actor Avinash Tiwary, who managed to win hearts with his power-packed performance in Netflix’s ‘Bulbbul’, was taken by surprise when he saw the news of his death online. The talented actor took to social to bust the fake story of his demise. Avinash slammed the article, which was published on a news portal. The website has now taken down the post. One user tweeted, "God Avinash I'm so sorry, this is just so disgusting and disturbing. Social media is getting full of this type of fakeness and negativity, this is insane! Stay strong Avinash, power to you."

Avinash received raved reviews from the critics and fans for his role as Satya in Anushka Sharma's 'Bulbbul'. He shared a heartfelt post to thank everyone for the love and support. "I want to take this opportunity and thank everyone for the love showered for #Bulbbul. Its very rare to be part of a film wherein every facet of the film is acknowledged and appreciated equally."
On the professional front, Avinash Tiwary will be next seen in 'The Girl On The Train'. The mystery thriller co-starring Parineeti Chopra was slated to hit the silver screens on May 8, 2020. However, the film got delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' actress Jaya Bhattacharya also became a victim of death hoax. The 'Thapki' actress shared a post on Instagram and told everyone that she is alive and healthy. She wrote, "I am alive and kicking Please guy before putting up a post can you cross check."
