'Gone Too Soon': Rajkummar Rao, Ali Fazal & Other B-Town Celebs Mourn Brahma Mishra's Demise

Brahma Mishra's 'Mirzapur' co-stars shared posts to express their grief over the demise of the talented artist.

New Delhi: Actor Brahma Mishra, who was known for his role of Lalit in the popular web series 'Mirzapur', was found dead at his apartment in Mumbai on Thursday (December 2). Several Bollywood celebs including Rajkummar Rao, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu shared posts on social media to mourn the loss of the talented actor. 

Ali and Divyenndu, who worked with Brahma in ‘Mirzapur’, got emotional while penning their thought on Instagram. Ali Fazal, who was seen as Guddu Pandit in the critically acclaimed series, shared photos of the deceased actor along with a note. He said that he is heartbroken to know about the demise of Mishra. 

“Hearts broken today, yet again. Brahma, take care saathi . . RIP. #mirzapur,” the ‘Fukrey’ actor wrote. Richa Chadha dropped a comment on the post. She commented, "This is the most heartbreaking thing … it’s too tragic. Condolences to family and friend. Bramha, gone way too soon."

"Rest in peace brother. Gone too soon," Rajkummar Rao wrote on his Instagram story.

Excel Movies, which produced 'Mirzapur', posted a note on their official Instagram handle to mourn the demise of Mishra. "We are deeply saddened by the untimely demise of #BramhswaroopMishra. Our condolences are with his family and friends. May he rest in peace," the post read.

Who Was Brahma Mishra?

Brahma Mishra worked in several films like Akshay Kumar starrer 'Kesari', Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt's 'Badrinath Ki Dulhania', 'Hawaizaada', 'Dangal'. The talented actor was best known for his role of Munna Bhaiya's right-hand man in 'Mirzapur'.
