New Delhi: The ongoing death probe of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput took a dramatic turn after the central investigating teams uncovered the drugs angle linked with actor's unfortunate demise.

So far in the case, SSR's live-in partner Rhea Chakrabotry, her brother Showik Chakraborty and four others have been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for allegedly arranging drugs for late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

According to the latest media reports, Rhea Chakraborty during the NCB interrogation revealed names of Bollywood celebrities in connection to the drugs angle.

Going by a Times Now report, Rhea has named 25 drug peddlers and 15 Bollywood celebrities alleging their involvement in procuring banned substances and supply to others. The report also stated that some celebrities also acted as peddlers and suppliers themselves.

If reports are to believed, the Narcotics agency is likely to summon the 'named Bollywood celebs' to question them over the usage and supply of drugs.

Meanwhile, earlier today, the Mumbai court dismissed the bail plea of Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and the other 4 accused in the drugs angle. The court has said that "at this crucial stage bail can't be granted to any of the 6 accused."

The 'Jalebi' actress and the key accused in the death probe of Sushant Sigh, has been charged with abetment in possession, sale, purchase, consumption, transportation of substances under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS). The 28-year-old actress was arrested on September 8, following which she was moved to the Mumbai's women prison Byculla Jail.

Actress's advocate Satish Manishinde has said that they will go for the next steps, which is to appeal in High Court in the next week. If found guilty, the actress may face a jail term up to 10 years.
