Bollywood actress Sonali Bendre misses Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations

New York: Bollywood actor Sonali Bendre who is currently undergoing treatment for high-grade cancer in New York is missing the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations back home in Mumbai. 'Sarfarosh' actor Bendre took to Twitter to post pictures of her husband Goldie Behl and son Ranveer Behl offering prayers to Lord Ganesha. She tweeted, "#GaneshChaturthi has always been very very close to my heart. Missing the celebrations back home, but still feeling blessed. Have a happy one, filled with blessings, love and joy!" On July 4, the actress took to social media to open up about her disease. few weeks back, Sonali's husband Producer Goldie Behl has urged people to be more responsible about the content they share on social media platforms. Behl, husband of Bollywood actor Sonali Bendre, asked the users to not spread or believe in rumours. "I appeal to all to please use social media more responsibly. Let us not believe in rumours and spread them, unnecessarily hurting the sentiments of those involved. Thank you," he tweeted Saturday. The filmmaker's tweet comes after BJP MLA Ram Kadam posted a message Twitter which read "Sonali Bendre, the actress who ruled Hindi and Marathi cinema was no more."
