Anurag Kashyap All Praise For SRK In Pathaan; Says 'Itna Khatarnaka Action Hai, Shah Rukh Ke Liye Pehli baar Aisa Role Hai'

Anurag shared his views about the film after watching it.

New Delhi: 'Pathaan' has been receiving rave reviews from across the country. Fans and critics have been singing praises of SRK's return to the celluloid with a bang. 'Pathaan' starring John Abraham, Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan has created so much anticipation among fans that late night shows for the film have also been started. Among the praises for 'Pathaan', filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is all praises for the SRK starrer.

Anurag shared his views about the film after watching it. "Shah Rukh Khan itna haseen, itna sundar pehle kabhi laga nahi. Toh hum toh usko dekhne aaye the aur dil khush ho gaya. Aur itna khatarnaka action hai, Shah Rukh ke liye pehli baar aisa role hai. Mujhe nahi lagta unhone is tarah ka action pehle kiya hai.Kya body banayi hai," The Indian Express quoted Anurag as saying.

As per industry trends, 'Pathaan' will collect Rs. 40 crores on its opening day alone. All eyes are on the box office to see if the Shah Rukh Khan starrer meets the mark.

Meanwhile, as per our in-house review, 'Pathaan' marks Shah Rukh Khan's grand return on celluloid after 'Zero' which was released in 2018. Co-starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham, 'Pathaan' is an action-thriller. However, mere star power with impressive performances by Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone cannot save this yet another formula film from the Yash Raj banner.``

"For what it's worth, 'Pathaan' is a one-time watch and a great way to begin 2023. It has its moments and is sure to bring SRK fans back to theatres and perhaps give Bollywood a good box office start this year, " it added.
