Anil Kapoor-Sunita Kapoor Wedding Anniversary: Sonam Shares Heartfelt Post To Wish Her Parents, Says 'I Wish I Could..'

Sonam Kapoor posted priceless throwback photos to wish Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor on their 37th marriage anniversary.

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor took to social media to share a heartwarming post for her parents, Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor on their 37th wedding anniversary. The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ star posted unseen throwback photos of the couple along with a sweet note. 

Sonam showered Anil and Sunita with love on their marriage anniversary and thanked them for ‘teaching her that love and family champions everything in life’. 

The ‘PadMan’ actress is currently stationed in London and hence, she couldn't wish her parents in personally on their special day. 

“There’s not a day that goes by where I’m not blown away by how in love you two still are. Thank you for teaching me that no matter what happens in life, love and family champions everything. 37 years of marriage and 11 years of dating (48 years), and a lifetime to go. How I wish I could’ve hugged you both in person right now Happy anniversary, Maa & Daddy. Love you!,” Sonam wrote on Instagram.

Sonam's parents dropped comments on the post. Sunita wrote, "Love you so much" while Anil commented, "Love you and miss you’ll so much."

Anil and Sunita tied the knot on May 19, 1984 after dating each other for several years. They are parents to Sonam, Rhea and Harshvardhan Kapoor. 

The 'Mr. India' star penned a heartfelt post for his wifey, calling her the 'bedrock' of the family. He also made a promise to Sunita on their anniversary.

"All the love stories and quotes about love fall short in front of our love story. With you by my side I know I’m safe, loved & happy! You are the bedrock of our combined families and we don't know what we'd do without you in our lives! I promise to spend my life making you feel loved and treasured in the way that you deserve it...Happy Anniversary!!," Anil wrote.

On the professional front, Anil Kapoor will be next seen in Raj Mehta’s ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’. The comedy drama also stars Varun Dhawan, Neetu Singh and Kiara Advani.
