Amitabh Bachchan Is Grateful For The Love He Received On His Birthday: ‘Never Be Able To Repay It’
Amitabh Bachchan has informed stepping away from an advertising campaign of a pan masala brand on the occasion of his birthday on October 11.
New Delhi: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan celebrated his birthday on October 11. As Big B turned a year older yesterday, wishes from nook and corner of the globe came pouring in for the superstar. The ‘Chehre’ actor took to his social media and thanked everyone in a post.
Amitabh Bachchan shared a picture on his Instagram and penned down a note showing his gratitude for all the love that he has received on his birthday. The ‘Baghban’ actor wrote while sharing, “my gratitude for the love you give me .. I shall never be able to repay it .. nor shall I ever be able to fathom your affection ..your greetings today have been immense .. I cannot respond to all of them , but I do hold them close here and wish that you take this humble presence here on Instagram as my response ..आभार स्नेह”.
Also, on his birthday, the ‘Shahenshah’ actor has informed stepping away from an advertising campaign of a paan masala brand. He also mentioned about giving back the money received for its promotion. ‘The office of Amitabh Bachchan’ shared in a blog post that read, “A few days after the commercial was aired, Bachchan contacted the brand and stepped out of it last week. Upon checking why this sudden move - it was revealed that when Bachchan became associated with the brand, he wasn’t aware that it falls under surrogate advertising. Bachchan has terminated the contract with the brand, has written to them his termination and has returned the money received for the promotion.”
Meanwhile, speaking on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen starring in ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Mayday’, ‘Goodbye’, ‘Jhund’, ‘The Intern’ and the untitled film with Nag Ashwin.
