Shah Rukh Khan's spy thriller 'Pathaan' has surpassed the Rs 100 crore mark just two days of its release.
New Delhi: The response to Shah Rukh Khan's comeback movie 'Pathaan' has been overwhelmingly positive, and it is breaking box office records. The spy thriller has surpassed the Rs 100 crore mark just two days of its release.
While the actor is being cheered by fans for his on-screen performance, SRK is getting plaudits for an old video that has gone viral on the internet. In a clip that has been shared by a Twitter user, who goes by the name @_nehruvian, the superstar is seen talking about his multi-religious upbringing.
In a video clip, Shah Rukh Khan discusses his conviction that all religions are fundamentally the very same. The actor, who attended a Catholic school and was raised in a Muslim family, explains his perspective on religion. He remarked how he thought it was strange that people would argue about something like this when "it's all the same."

Shah Rukh Khan's fans are gushing with love for his remarks about appreciating all religions and saying that they are inherently identical. Here is what people are saying on Twitter:
There is a whole breed of Indians much like this .I completely agree with him . Knowing about different religions and respecting each doesn’t not in anyway mean you are not as much a Hindu , Muslim or Christian anymore . It just means you are now more of a human being .

Most Indians are like that. India is multi religious, multi ethnic and multi cultural country.
In a previous interview with NDTV from 2015, SRK made the argument that if we continued to focus so much on religion, we would regress to the dark times. He talked on how the accessibility of new channels, such as social media, has made intolerance worse because older viewpoints couldn't be heard as clearly. Due to this, they are forced to use greater tact and tolerance when speaking.
Compare Shahrukh's statement on religious intolerance from 2015 to his recent statement. There is consistency in what he's saying. However, he's more careful with his words right now.
