'The Super Response Is Mark Of Faith..': Akshay Kumar Expresses Gratitude Towards Fans. Don't Miss His Goofy Gig

Akshay Kumar penned a heartfelt post to thank the fans for showering 'Sooryavanshi' with love.

Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Sooryavanshi’ has finally hit the silver screens on Friday (November 5). If trade pundits are to be believed, the action drama co-starring Katrina Kaif has received a good response from the audience upon its release at the box office. Early trends suggest that the movie will rake in big moolah on its first day. Netizens have also given thumbs up the film, calling it a masala entertainer.  

Akshay, who played the role of DCP Sooryavanshi in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama, shared a note to thank the fans for showering his new film with love. He said that the amazing response from the audience is a sign of faith that is expected to revive the theatrical business, which has been affected by COVID-19 crisis.

The National Award-winning artist expressed gratitude towards the fans for ‘embracing the cinemas’ back in their lives.  

Khiladi Kumar posted a clip along with the note wherein he can be seen dancing on the song ‘Na Jaa’. He asked his followers to ignore the ‘goofy gig’ as he was ‘overjoyed’ with the positive response. 

“Pardon the goofy gig am overjoyed! Thank you SO much for embracing cinemas back in your lives. The super response is not just for Team #Sooryavanshi, it is a mark of faith that’ll bring joy and prosperity back in our film industry. We are nothing without you. Sheer gratitude,” the ‘Good Newwz’ star wrote. 

Ahead of the film's release, the 'Padman' star penned a post to reveal why 'Sooryavanshi' was special to him. He wrote, "I’ve done a lot of action in my career…hanging from helicopters, jumping across buildings, crazy bike chases. #Sooryavanshi is special to me in more ways than one, it is my ode to that old school action but on a grander scale, releasing in cinemas tomorrow."

'Sooryavanshi' was originally supposed to arrive in the cinema halls in March 2020; however, it got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis. Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh reprised their respective roles of Singham and Simmba in the highly anticipated flick.
