Netizens Call Out Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bell Bottom’ For Alleged Plagiarism
Ahead of its release on August 19, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bell Bottom’ has been accused of alleged plagiarism.
Mumbai: ‘Bell Bottom’ is the first Bollywood movie to release on the big screens after the terrifying second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. Featuring Akshay Kumar in the lead role, ‘Bell Bottom’ is all set to hit the theatres on August 19, 2021. The movie also stars Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutta and Vaani Kapoor in prominent roles.
Well, ahead of its release, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bell Bottom’ has been accused of alleged plagiarism. The first song of this movie ‘Marjaawaan’ was released on Friday and soon after, the fans started sharing the poster of this song and accused the makers of plagiarism.

Well, the poster of ‘Marjaawaan’ seemed similar to that of a post of Camile, who is a social media influencer and digital creator. She shares beautiful clicks from around the world and according to the post shared by the influencer, this picture has been clicked in Sri Lanka.
On a related note, ‘Bell Bottom’ has been helmed by Ranjit M Tewari. This upcoming spy thriller is based on true events and produced by Pooja Entertainment and Emmay Entertainment.
Meanwhile, other than ‘Bell Bottom’, Akshay Kumar has a number of projects lined up for release. He will be next seen featuring in ‘Sooryavanshi’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Atrangi Re’, ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Prithviraj’ and ‘Raksha Bandhan’.
