Ajay Devgn Attacked Outside Delhi Pub? Actor's Team Clarifies He Is Not The Man In Viral Brawl Video

Ajay Devgn's team has refuted the reports which suggested that the actor was beaten up outside Delhi's pub. The fake news spread on the internet after a video from the brawl surfaced on social media.

Bollywood superstar Ajay Devgn trended on social media after a video of a brawl outside a Delhi pub circulated on the internet. Several claimed that the ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ star was beaten up by some people outside a pub. It was alleged that the people attacked Ajay Devgn as he didn’t speak on the farmer’s protest and supported the government in the matter.

Although, the face of the person is not visible in the video, many claimed it to be Ajay Devgn. When ABP News contacted the official spokesperson of the ‘Singham’ actor, he clarified that the person in the video is not Devgn. He called the video ‘false and misleading’ and asked everyone to not pay attention to it.

Ajay Devgn's Tweet

"Some ‘doppelgänger’ of mine seems to have got into trouble. I’ve been getting concerned calls. Just clarifying, I’ve not traveled anywhere. All reports regarding me being in any brawl are baseless. Happy Holi," Devgn tweeted to clarify that the reports about him being involved in any brawl are 'baseless'.

Ajay Devgn's Team On Viral Video

Ajay Devgan's spokesperson, while talking to ABP News, said, "Media reports related to a brawl outside a Delhi pub are completely baseless and inaccurate. News agencies and media reporting this news should note that Ajay Devgan has been busy shooting for 'Maidan', ‘MayDay’ and 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' and he has not visited Delhi in the last 14 months."

The spokesperson added, "Ajay is known for his responsible behavior which confirms that the video is fake. We request media to check the authenticity of such kind of news before putting anyting."

Here's the viral video from the brawl which is being shared on different social media platforms with the claim that people attacked Devgn for supporting the farm laws. 

When A Man Blocked Ajay Devgn's Car

Earlier this month, a man stopped Ajay Devgn’s car while has going to Mumbai’s Film City. The man identified as Rajdeep Ramesh Singh was apparently miffed with Devgn’s tweet on the farmers’ protest in India. He was arrested under sections 504 and 506 (ii) of IPC. Singh was later released on bail.

Police Arrests Two Men In Delhi Brawl Case

According to a report in PTI, a brawl broke out between two groups in Delhi’s Aerocity on March 27 when one of their cars ‘slightly touched’ another following which two people were arrested. The police officers are looking to nab the other accused involved in the brawl.

The two men were identified as Taranjit Singh and Naveen Kumar. Several other men joined them in the fight, the police told the news agency. The men attacked the security guards and staffers when they attempted to intervene.
