After The Success Of Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan Announces Buy 1 Get 1 Deal On Movie Tickets

'Jawan' is now among Hindi cinema's all-time top earners globally and Shah Rukh Khan's highest-grossing film.

New Delhi: 'Jawan', which starred Shah Rukh Khan, opened to an overwhelming response from audiences and critics. And just a few days ago, the worldwide box office crossed the Rs. 1000 crore mark while also performing strongly here at home. The action flick is now among Hindi cinema's all-time top earners globally and Shah Rukh Khan's highest-grossing film. The actor celebrated his feat on Wednesday by announcing that tickets for the movie will now be offered as part of a "Buy 1 Get 1" offer. 

Shah Rukh revealed the news on his social media platforms hours after his #AskSRK session on X (previously Twitter). On Twitter, a fan stated that he wanted to show his son the charm of 'Jawan', but he had no luck finding tickets. Shah Rukh Khan was moved by this fan's touching plea.

The actor gave a warm response and asked his production company, Red Chillies, to provide a discount on tickets so people could see the movie with their loved ones.

"Bhai ko, behen ko… Dushman ko, Yaar ko… And of course, apne Pyaar ko… Kal Jawan dikhaaiyega! Chacha-Chachi, Phoopha-Phoophi, Maama-Maami… Yaani Poore Parivaar ko. Sab ke liye ek ke saath ek free ticket!!! Toh kal se… Parivaar, yaar aur pyaar… Just Buy 1 ticket and get the other 1 FREE!* Wholesome entertainment with the whole family," he shared on Twitter.

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawan', which is directed by Atlee, has made Rs 1022 crore in a mere twenty days. The Red Chillies Entertainment production 'Jawan' was produced by Gaurav Verma and Gauri Khan. The Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu versions of the movie premiered in theatres all around the world on September 7.

The next movie starring Shah Rukh Khan will be Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki', which also features Taapsee Pannu.
