Given that they both collaborated on the hugely successful 'Tanu Weds Manu' franchise, Kangana and Swara have a history that extends beyond their professional relationships. During a discussion on nepotism, Kangana referred to Swara and Taapsee Pannu as "B-grade" actors, which enraged the two actresses.
Swara Bhasker took to Twitter to inform her fans of the joyous news of her marriage to Ahmad, whom she had first met in January 2020 while taking part in a rally against the disputed Citizenship Reform Act (CAA). Ahmad, a student leader, had assembled the young group of students to start the CAA resistance.
After announcing her marriage to Fahad Zirar Ahmad, she praised the Special Marriage Act's provisions. Swara shared a sweet video on her official Instagram account on Thursday that showed how the two met and became friends.
Three cheers for the #SpecialMarriageAct (despite notice period etc.) At least it exists & gives love a chance… The right to love, the right to choose your life partner, the right to marry, the right to agency these should not be a privilege.@FahadZirarAhmad
