Aditya Roy Kapur To ROMANCE Tara Sutaria In Ahmed Khan’s Production ‘OM’?

New Delhi: Aditya Roy Kapur set off his foot in the Hindi film industry with the movie ‘London Dreams’ and gained recognition with his extraordinary performance in ‘Aashiqui 2’. His recent release ‘Sadak 2’ co-starring Alia Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt faced the wrath of the netizens amid the ongoing debate of ‘nepotism’ surrounding Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Due to differences with director Mohit Suri, the ‘Malang’ actor walked out of ‘Ek Villain 2’ and has reportedly signed a big action film titled ‘OM’. Bankrolled by Ahmed Khan, this movie will also star Tara Sutaria in the female lead. A source revealed to a leading entertainment portal that Ahmed Khan was supposed to direct the movie himself with Tiger Shroff in the lead, but with ‘Heropanti 2’ under his kitty, he could not direct it and then decided to produce the film himself. The source told Bollywood Hungama, “It’s an action packed film with a strong undercurrent of romance and the makers are all set to take it on floors around November. The recce and pre-production work is in progress right now, and Adi plays the titular character of Om in the film.” It added, “The leading lady is Tara Sutaria. She was to work with Adi in Ek Villain 2, however, after Adi’s exit, the pair couldn’t be explored there. But the makers of Om felt that Adi and Tara would bring forward a fresh dynamic in the story.” Elaborating on Aditya Roy Kapur’s role, the source disclosed that the ‘Action Replayy’ actor has already started hitting the gym for a perfect physique required for the role. “He is in talks for a couple of other films in the action space, and there should be some clarity in the next couple of months. For Om, Adi has already started to hit the gym and have a perfect physique in place”, said the source. Aditya Roy Kapur will be next seen starring in Anurag Basu’s dark anthology comedy film ‘Ludo’. Other than the ‘Fitoor’ actor, the movie stars an ensemble cast of Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Bachchan, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanya Malhotra, Asha Negi and others. Stay tuned for more updates!
