Aamir Khan to STAR in a Hollywood film remake after ‘Thugs of Hindostan’?

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who was last seen in ‘Secret Superstar’, is currently busy shooting for Yash Raj Films ‘Thugs of Hindostan’. The Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial co-starring Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh is touted as this year’s big-ticket Diwali release. For all those who are excited to know about the ‘Dangal’ star’s next project after TOH, we have some news. Speculations are rife that the ‘Dhoom 3’ actor has an exciting project in his mind. A report in a leading daily has suggested that a Hollywood film has caught the attention of Aamir Khan. The ‘PK’ actor, who is producing Gulshan Kumar’s biopic along with Bhushan Kumar, was rumoured to be playing Osho aka Bhagwaan Rajneesh in a film to be helmed by Shakun Batra. However, a source told the daily that the work on the biopic has been paused and the team is making changes to the script on Aamir Khan’s advice. “Work on that has been currently paused. The team is reworking the script on Aamir’s advice. There are several parts of the storyline that he had not agreed upon,” a source told DNA. Aamir Khan to STAR in a Hollywood film remake after ‘Thugs of Hindostan’? Interestingly, the report in the daily suggested that the ‘3 Idiots’ actor is interested in remaking a Hollywood film. Aamir has never divulged the details of his films and he is keeping the name of the Hollywood flick under wraps till things are finalised. “He is interested in remaking a Hollywood movie, which was produced by Paramount Pictures. Aamir never spills the beans about his projects till all the details are chalked out. No wonder, he is keeping the name of this film under wraps. It will be revealed only when everything is finalised as talks are currently underway to acquire the rights,” the source further told the daily. Talking about his upcoming film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, it is slated to hit the silver screens on November 7. Watch this space for more updates!
