Srikanth Papa Kehte Hain Song: Aamir Khan attended the launch of Rajkummar Rao-starrer Srikanth’s song ‘Papa Kehte Hain’ as a special guest. The song, which featured in Aamir’s 1988 movie 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak', was relaunched at Mumbai's Andrews College on Monday. The song features Rajkummar in the role of visually impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla, the track gives a peek into his life journey.

During the event, singer Udit Narayan, who is a renowned playback artist, and actor Aamir Khan strolled down memory lane. In a video posted on social media, Aamir Khan can be seen fighting back tears as he clapped during the band’s act. Meanwhile, the actors were joined by Srikanth Bolla who was also seen enjoying the performance.
While speaking to the media at the song launch event, the singer said, "We all in the team of 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' were starting off in the industry at that time. I was particularly quite nervous and felt if this song didn't work, I would have to pack my bags and go back to my hometown."

Actor Aamir Khan then quipped, "Aur mujhe dekh ke toh inko pakka laga hoga, 'Ye hero hai toh fir pakka saamaan baandh kar vapas jana padega' (Looking at a debut actor like me at that time, he must've felt that it's definitely time for him to pack bags)".
