65th National Awards: Late Sridevi wins 'Best Actress' award for her last film 'Mom'!
The winner s of '65th National Film Awards' has been announced by filmmaker Shekhar Kapur in Delhi. As reported earlier, Rajkummar Rao starrter 'Newton' has been announced as the winner of two big awards[READ HERE...].
Late actress Sridevi has been announced as the Best Actor (Female) for her last film 'Mom'. For the same film, musician A R Rahman has won the award for 'Best Background Score'.

Sridevi played the role of a mother of a rape victim, who takes revenge from the rapists. Released last year in July, Sridevi was lauded for her performance in the film directed by Ravi Udyawar. Sridevi died in her room in Hotel Jemeirah Emirates Towers, Dubai due to "accidental drowning" on February 24 which came as a shock to her family as well as fans. The 'Kapoor' family is now moving on in life & this award to Sridevi will surely make them more proud.
