Lata Mangeshkar's Expensive Possessions: From Luxurious Bungalow To Swanky Cars, Late Legendary Singer Left Property Worth Crores

Bollywood legend Lata Mangeshkar passed away on February 6,2022 at the age of 92 at Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital

The legendary Lata Mangeshkar left for her heavenly abode on 6th February, 2022. The Bharat Ratna of India has left a huge void which can never be filled and besides a plethora of songs that will be remembered by everyone, Lata didi owned a great collection of worldly possessions. 

The late singer had a lavish home named Prabhu Kunj on Pedder Road in South Mumbai. According to reports, her expensive home came with a warm rectangular balcony which gave a spectacular view of Peddar Road. It is believed that Lata Mangeshkar’s monthly income was Rs 40 lakh and most of her income would come from the royalties of her songs.

She even owned a fleet of cars including Chevrolet, Buick, Chrysler and a Mercedes. According to reports, Lata had bought a Chevrolet when she began a successful career in singing.

As a token of appreciation for her association with his film'Veer Zara' filmmaker Yash Chopra had gifted her an E-class Mercedes. For the uninitiated, Lata had crooned all the songs for the Shah Rukh khan, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukerji starrer film. 

Besides this, Lata Mangeshkar was also fond of photography and collected several expensive, professional cameras.

The Bollywood legend passed away on Sunday(February 6,2022) at the age of 92. Lata Ji had been admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital on January 8 after she was diagnosed with COVID-19 and pneumonia.

Born on September 28, 1929, she began her career in 1942 at the age of 13. In a career spanning over seven decades, the melody queen recorded songs for over a thousand Hindi films. She recorded her songs in over 36 regional Indian and foreign languages.
