‘Forever We Are Young’: BTS ARMY Documentary Release Date, Ticket Booking Details And What To Expect

BTS is set to release ‘Forever We Are Young’, a new documentary dedicated to the ARMY, in theatres globally on July 30.

K-pop sensation BTS is honouring their fans in a way like never before. Titled ‘Forever We Are Young’, a new documentary celebrating the enduring bond between the global supergroup and their devoted fanbase, ARMY, is headed for a worldwide theatrical release on July 30.

The documentary is backed by producers Eurie Chung, Nora Chute, Grace Lee and Patty Ahn, with an impressive lineup of executive producers that includes Academy Award winner Morgan Neville, along with James Shin and Caitrin Rogers.

‘Forever We Are Young’ Documentary Theme

Unlike previous documentaries that focused on the band’s journey, ‘Forever We Are Young’ puts the spotlight on the fans. This feature-length film is directed by award-winning filmmakers Grace Lee and Patty Ahn, and promises an emotional deep-dive into how ARMY has played a pivotal role in the band’s meteoric rise from their rookie days in Seoul to conquering global stages.

“There is no BTS without ARMY and no ARMY without BTS,” the directors noted, summing up the theme of the film. The narrative leans on fan testimonials, rarely seen archival footage, and cultural insights to tell a story of connection, growth and shared passion.

How to Book ‘Forever We Are Young’ Tickets?

The project, distributed by Trafalgar Releasing, will hit select theatres across the globe for a limited run. Fans will be able to book their tickets starting July 2 through the official website btsarmymovie.com.

Fans can sign up for updates and get notified about global screening information, posters, and other exclusive merchandise. Select cinemas will offer branded concessions and official movie posters, making this a unique experience for ARMY.

The film had its world premiere at SXSW 2025 in Austin, Texas, where it received glowing reviews and standing ovations. Since then, it has been screened at prominent festivals in Copenhagen, Mexico City, Hawaii, and Los Angeles.

While it’s not confirmed whether BTS members will attend any screenings or have personally seen the documentary, ‘Forever We Are Young’ is clearly a love letter to the very people who helped define their journey, millions of fans who stood by them through every milestone.

What’s Next for BTS?

As of June 2025, all seven members (Jungkook, V, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin and RM) of BTS have officially wrapped up their compulsory military duties. With their enlistment period behind them, fans are now counting down the days to their full-fledged return.

While group activities are yet to resume, the members have already settled into individual commitments, some are overseas working on new projects, gearing up for solo tours, or appearing at global events.

The anticipation surrounding their comeback as a group continues to build among devoted fans.
