New Delhi: CEO of ADOR Min Hee Jin found herself in the middle of a scandal after accusations surfaced that she had covered up a sexual harassment event at her company. Fans, particularly the female audience of the idol groups represented by ADOR, were outraged when the claims went viral on social media.
As events continued to heat up, Min Hee Jin took to Instagram stories to address the issue. Beginning with the escalating tensions between her and HYBE, the parent firm, she went on to describe the immense difficulties she faced as a result of the disclosure of a private KakaoTalk conversation. Considering the limitations her legal team faced, Min felt compelled to use social media to give her side of the story, claiming that these interactions had been misinterpreted.

Min Hee Jin requested people to be vigilant against false accusations and twisted facts.
In multiple Instagram stories, Min Hee Jin provided pictures of unedited chats on KakaoTalk to back up her claims. The captured texts showed Vice President A inviting employee B to a dinner with an advertiser. B graciously refused the offer since they thought it was inappropriate. Nevertheless, A mistakenly thought B was hesitating, and went ahead with the dinner arrangements.
What Was the Sexual Harassment Case?
Allegations surfaced that ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin had backed a male executive who had allegedly harassed a female colleague. Later, the attorneys for Min Hee Jin stepped up to defend her. It was revealed by the legal team that HYBE's internal investigation into the harassment case was closed on March 16 after "finding no charges."
Min Hee-jin had listened to both sides of the story and had already demanded changes to HYBE's HR policies concerning clean management and transparency. "The case was closed when the two staff members reconciled after seeing the difference in their opinions," according to them.
