After South Korean Drama's Remake Announcement, Business Proposal Star Ahn Hyo-Seop Drops Hint About Visiting India

New Delhi: Numerous reports stated that the popular k-drama 'Business Proposal' might have an Indian remake after gaining an avid following. After the k-drama premiered in 2022, it quickly rose to fame among fans. It will reportedly be released in Hindi and Telegu. The storyline will be similar to that of the original South Korean drama. 'Business Proposal' is based on a webcomic of the same name.

Ahn Hyo Seop, the star of the 'Business Proposal', recently confirmed the drama's Indian remake in an exclusive interview with India Today.

“I'm incredibly happy that ‘Business Proposal’  will be remade in India because that means that the original series resonated a lot with the audience in India, and I would love to watch the remake one day,” the actor said. 

When questioned about his visit to India, he added, “I would love to visit India. Even as I speak at this moment for this interview, I'm so excited and grateful that there will be people in India listening to what I have to say.” 

It was impossible to overlook the friendship between the two female stars and the chemistry between the two main couples. There was never a dull moment in the 12-episode rom-com series. The show's four actors, Ahn Hyo-Seop, Kim Se Jeong, Kim Min Kyu, and Seol In Ah, are known for their outstanding performances, which helped 'Business Proposal' become one of the most-watched Korean dramas of all time.

On the other hand, in a recent interview with the Indian Express, the drama's star Kim Seojeon, also talked about India.

“India’s landscapes and culture are incredibly captivating, and I’m drawn to the idea of immersing myself in its rich heritage. I also love Indian cuisine, particularly curry, and other dishes, and I’m curious to try the local dishes and see what it tastes like," she said. 

Kang Tae-moo, a chaebol heir who is under enormous pressure from his grandpa to get married, is the main character in the series 'Business Proposal'. On a blind date, he meets Shin Ha-ri, a replacement for his friend Jin Young-seo. Shin Ha-ri's true identity is eventually revealed, but by this time, our wealthy CEO has already fallen madly in love with her despite the class barrier.
