Kartik Aaryan Introduces His Character ‘Arjun Pathak’ From ‘Dhamaka’

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan, who is known for portraying ‘boy-next-door’ characters will be next seen in a different avatar in his upcoming movie ‘Dhamaka’. The ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ actor will essay the role of a journalist who covers the live broadcast of a terror attack in ‘Dhamaka’. Kartik Aaryan Shares PIC Of His Worried Mother As He Starts Shooting For 'Dhamaka' Earlier today, Kartik took to his social media and introduced his character ‘Arjun Pathak’ from ‘Dhamaka’ to his fans. In the picture, the ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ actor can be seen sporting long hair and a blood-stained suit. ‘Dhamaka’ will be helmed by ‘Neerja’ director Ram Madhvani and the movie will portray the workings of a news channel in the 21^st century reportedly. This film is also reportedly the Hindi remake of the 2013 South Korean movie ‘The Terror Live’. ‘Dhamaka’ will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP and Ram Madhvani Films (with Co-Producer Amita Madhvani). Mrunal Thakur will portray the female protagonist in ‘Dhamaka’ according to a report of Filmfare. Earlier, Kartik Aaryan said in a statement, “This for me is a miracle script and had me on the edge of my seat all through the narration. I knew this is the script that would give me the opportunity to explore a different side of me as an actor.” On the professional front, Kartik Aaryan was seen in 'Love Aaj Kal 2' opposite Sara Ali Khan. The 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety' actor has a couple of exciting films in his kitty including 'Bhool Bhulaiyya' and 'Dostana 2'. He will romance Janhvi Kapoor in 'Dostana 2' while he will be seen opposite Kiara Advani in 'Bhool Bhulaiyya 2'.
