Kareena Kapoor Begins Shooting For Hansal Mehta Film In London
According to reports, Kareena is playing the main protagonist in the Hansal Mehta film. She will be essaying the role of a detective in the yet-untitled film.
New Delhi: Kareena Kapoor Khan has begun shooting for her next film with filmmaker Hansal Mehta. Kareena is currently in London to shoot for the same. Kareena shared the update through her official Instagram handle. Taking to her Instagram, Kareena shared a picture of herself in an overcoat with suitcases beside her. She captioned the picture, "Day 1❤️Film number 67 or 68? Chalo guys let’s do this❤@ektarkapoor @balajimotionpictures @hansalmehta @mahana_films @castingchhabra📸@khamkhaphotoartist."
Kareena was spotted at the Mumbai airport leaving with her son Jeh Ali for London. Kareena also shared an Instagram story sharing her picture of getting her hair done for her film. She wrote besides the story, "Getting ready for Day 1” and tagged Hansal Mehta and Ekta Kapoor in the post." In another story, Kareena wished actor Mickey Contractor on his birthday. Mickey will be working with Kareena on the project.

Kareena was recently seen in 'Laal Singh Chaddha' with Aamir Khan. 'Laal Singh Chaddha' was the official adaptation of the Oscar-winning film 'Forrest Gump'. The film released on the Rakshabandhan festival amidst a lot of controversies and failed to make a storm at the box office. 'Laal Singh Chaddha's box office collections were dismal and the film remained below the Rs. 200 crores on the domestic front. 'Laal Singh Chaddha' began streaming on Netflix from October 6, four months before it was expected to go to any digital platform. Meanwhile, Kareena's performance in the film was appreciated a lot.
Besides the Hansal Mehta film, Kareena also has Sujoy Ghosh's 'Devotion Of The Suspect X' with Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat in the pipeline.
