Karan Johar Announces New Release Date Of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt Starrer Film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’

New Delhi: With Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Karan Johar is making his directorial comeback after a seven-year hiatus, making it one of the most anticipated films in Bollywood. The Bollywood blockbuster ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ was Karan Johar's last directorial effort.
The film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, which was initially scheduled to be released in February 2023, has had its release date shifted to April 2023. The original release date was February 2023. Production has settled on a new release date, and Karan Johar has provided an update on the film's status.
In an Instagram post, Karan Johar said when fans can expect to see his film starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh. He revealed that the movie will hit theatres on April 28, 2023.
Karan’s post reads, "After 7 years, it's time for me to return to my first home - the cinemas. I had the absolute honour of working with not one, but many illustrious actors on the set of my film. The familial nostalgic feeling of an ensemble cast, creating music that captivates the hearts and a story that runs deep to the roots of our family traditions. It's that time again -to huddle with your family and friends, buy the popcorn and witness just sheer love & entertainment unfold on the big screen. We're overwhelmed and impatiently excited to finally inform... Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani in cinemas on 28th April 2023."
