Kamaal R Khan's Son Claims His Life Is Under Threat, Says 'Don't Want Him To Die Like Sushant Singh Rajput'

Actor Kamaal R Khan's son Faisal tweeted from the actor’s account and said that his father’s life is at risk in Mumbai. He also tagged actors Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh asking for help.

New Delhi: Actor Kamaal R Khan, popularly known as KRK, is currently in jail in the 2020 case of controversial tweets about actor Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma. His son Faisal tweeted from the actor’s account and said that his father’s life is at risk in Mumbai. He also tagged actors Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh as well as former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, asking for their help.

He tweeted, “I am KRK’ son Faisal Kamaal. Some people are torturing to kill my father in Mumbai. I am just 23years old living in London. I don’t know how to help my father. I request @juniorbachchan @Riteishd and @Dev_Fadnavis ji to save my father’s life. Me n my sister will die without him.”

In another tweet, Faisal wrote that he does not want his father to “die like Sushant Singh Rajput”. “Because he is our life. I request public also to support my father to save his life. We don’t want him to die like #SushantSinghRajput #WeStandWithKRK,” he wrote in the second tweet.

KRK was arrested from the Mumbai international airport on August 30 over the alleged derogatory tweets and sent to judicial custody by the Borivali magistrate court. He was then taken into custody by Versova police in a 2021 molestation case registered against and was produced before the Bandra court.

He has received bail in the molestation case.

According to PTI, The molestation case was registered in June 2021 based on the complaint of a 27-year-old woman under sections 354(A) (sexual harassment of the nature of unwelcome physical contact) and 509 (word or gesture intending to insult the modesty of any woman) of the IPC.

The complainant had alleged that Khan had called her to his bungalow in Versova on the pretext of offering her the lead role in a film. He spiked her drink and touched her inappropriately, as per the FIR.

According to police, tweets posted by Khan in 2020 were communal and he had targeted Bollywood personalities.

He was booked in 2020 under sections 153 (wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot) and 500 (punishment for defamation) and other provisions of the IPC and the Information Technology Act.
