Hrithik Roshan Donates His Rare Blood Type

Hrithik Roshan donated his rare blood type in a Mumbai hospital and encouraged his fans via his social media post.

New Delhi: On the 17th of February, the world celebrates Random Acts of Kindness Day and Hritik Roshan chose to do something kind to society.

On Thursday, Hrithik Roshan, who claims to have the uncommon B-negative blood group, gave blood. Hrithik encouraged others to do the same and went on to explain how giving blood benefits the donor's health.

Hrithik posted an Instagram photo of himself donating blood and making a victory sign for the camera, writing, “I was told that my blood group B-negative is a rare type. Hospitals often fall short of it. Pledging to be an insignificant part of the very significant blood banks. Thank you @kokilabenhospital for allowing me to contribute.”

He also added, “P.S: Do you know that donating blood is in fact good for the donors health?” His gesture of kindness inspires his followers.

Actor and producer Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik's father, commented in the comments section, "Proud of you." A humorous reply from a fan was what caught everyone's attention. "Will the (receiver) who gets this blood change into Krrish?" wrote the user.

Hrithik is ready for his next movie, the official Hindi version of the Tamil film 'Vikram Vedha' which also stars Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte. On his last birthday, he revealed the first look from the flick. He posted an Instagram photo of himself wearing a kurta and sporting a rugged look.
