New Delhi: At the 81st Golden Globe Awards, Greta Gerwig's Barbie and Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer dominated the nominations in their respective categories. Margot Robbie's role as Barbie earned her a nod for Lead Actress, and Ryan Gosling's comic role as Ken earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor. On the other hand, Oppenheimer led Christopher Nolan, the director, receive a nomination for Best Director; acting nominations went to Cillian Murphy, Robert Downey Jr., and Emily Blunt.
