Gul Panag Believes Kangana Ranaut And Taapsee Pannu Will Be Actively Involved In Politics

According to Gul Panag, Kangana and Taapsee might be two of those women who will join politics soon.

New Delhi: Actress Gul Panag is once again making headlines because of her remark regarding two Bollywood stars. She has prompted speculation about the possible political career of Kangana Ranaut and Taapsee Pannu. Kangana and Taapsee, two of Bollywood's most outspoken actresses, are known to be praised and criticized for their opinions.

Gul Panag's next web series ‘Good Bad Girl’ Directed by Abhishek Sengupta will feature her as a lawyer. The actress spoke recently with ETimes on her belief that many celebrities will pursue politics. Gul claims that Kangana and Taapsee would be one of those actresses.

She said, “I see Kangana definitely being active in politics. I see Taapsee perhaps doing the same. I am not seeing any guys with spunk of late. But hopefully they will find their spine sometime. But these two women have a spine. I don’t agree with everything that Kangana says. I disagree with a lot of what she says, but the woman has a spine. She has a lot of spunk. Taapsee has it too and I won’t be surprised if those two end up in active politics a little later on. Perhaps even Siddharth might get there."

Gul Panag, on the other hand, has pursued her own political career in her own right. She became a member of the Aam Aadmi Party a few years ago and even ran for election to the general assembly from the Chandigarh constituency in 2014. However, Kirron Kher was able to beat her to the seat.

The Vikas Bahl and Anurag Shrivastava creation Good Bad Girl will premiere on SonyLIV on October 14. Other actors who also make appearances in the show include Samridhi Dewan, Vaibhav Raj Gupta, Sheeba Chadha, Aradhya Anjana, Namrata Sheth, Rajendra Sethi, and Zain Khan.
