A succession of lightning strikes on Friday caused security concerns, leading to the evacuation of singer-songwriter Taylor Swift's Sydney, Australia concert.
Due to inclement weather, spectators were compelled to evacuate the lower floors of the Accor Stadium, which dealt a serious blow to her performance. This is according to "Female First UK."
The organisers asked the fans to take cover as the storm brought strong winds, lightning, and rain.
As per ‘Female First UK’, a post on the X account for Taylor's 'The Eras' tour shared: "The floor and lower bowl are currently being evacuated due to lightning strikes nearby the stadium at today's show of Taylor Swift's 'The Eras Tour' in Sydney, Australia. Please stay safe and seek shelter for now #SydneyTSTheErasTour."
According to an update, stadium employees were working hard to get the arena ready for visitors to return. The floor was being reset, and the chairs were being readied once more for the performance. Everyone was asked to remain inside till further notice.
